Current Vintage: 2017

The Marlborough region of New Zealand, with its cool climate growing conditions, is rapidly developing a reputation for producing premium Pinot Gris. The long dry autumn with warm days and cool nights, allows the grapes to mature slowly retaining and developing the lifted aromas of pear and quince, a soft texture and clean finish.

Mansion House Bay takes its name from the home of New Zealand's first Governor General, Sir George Grey who lived in this idyllic setting from 1862 to 1888.

Colour / Appearance: Medium blush, with a salmon/pink hue.

Aroma / Bouquet: Fresh strawberry, watermelon and cranberry fruit flavours, with hints of cream and toffee apple.

Palate: A medium-bodied wine, with bright red fruit flavours that persist on the clean, dry finish.

Cellaring: This wine is ready to be drunk young and fresh, or within two years of the vintage date with careful cellaring.

Food Match: This is a dry Rosé suited to pairing with food. Try serving with smoked fish, pâtés, or fresh green salads. Serve: Lightly chilled.
