Highly scored by the Malt Maniacs (90+), this is an 18 year old whisky from closed distillery Brora, bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Malt Cask range.
Distilled in September 1981 and aged for 18 years, this Brora whisky was matured in a sherry butt. The extended aging period in the sherry cask has significantly influenced its flavor profile, imbuing it with depth and complexity. The choice of cask and the maturation period have allowed the whisky to develop a unique character that is both complex and nuanced.
