The latest bottling in our Notable Age Statements series is a single cask 1963 Armagnac from Chateau de Gaube, aged for 58 years and bottled at natural cask strength.
Extremely classical in style, it leans more heavily towards a rustic and earthy Armagnac profile dominated by dark fruits, layers of earth, tobaccos and chocolate, and many wonderful honeyed and fruity complexities.
