We take great pride in using only the best grass-fed Australian beef for our biltong. Our production process is carefully crafted and extends over six days. This process starts with marinating the beef in a special blend of herbs and spices for 24 hours. Afterwards, the meat is hung in dehydrators for four days to cook and dry, developing the rich and distinctive flavour our biltong is known for.

Our range of biltong flavours is diverse, each meticulously created to delight the taste buds. Our selection includes Original, Smoke, Smoke Chilli, Chimichurri, and Salt and vinegar, available in various sizes ranging from convenient 35g packs to larger bulk options. We advocate our biltong as a healthier alternative to traditional snacks, perfect for pairing with a range of beverages and suitable for various occasions, from relaxed TV watching to social gatherings with friends.

All products sold by Bareback Biltong are covered by a warranty for your protection and peace of mind. Our products are all brand new and the warranty period is specified if applicable inside the packaging of the product. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

The customer shall inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify us in writing if the goods are damaged or incorrect. If for any reason the goods are not to your satisfaction, please notify us via your CellarsMarket account and request a Return Authorisation within 7 days. We will immediately send you the return instructions. We may request some additional information and/or photos to help decide on the best resolution for you. Any goods returned to Bareback Biltong without a Return Authorisation will be rejected at the door by our warehouse.

All Return Authorisations will be refunded via replacement of the item(s) unless...

1. The returnee requests a credit/refund via contacting a Bareback Biltong team member.
2. Bareback Biltong does not have the stock to replace the item(s), in which case the returnee will be notified and a credit/refund will be provided

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. A copy of the invoice, or other proof of purchase, must be included with the returned product, as well as the approved Return Authorisation sent to you by Bareback Biltong Support.

Bareback Biltong accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return to Bareback Biltong. Bareback Biltong will test all products returned. Some products may need to be returned to the manufacturer for testing. If this is the case, Bareback Biltong will contact you to advise of the status of the returned product.

Unless stated otherwise under this Returns Policy, Bareback Biltong reserves the right to refuse any returns that -

• are incomplete or missing parts; or
• are not returned in their original packaging, or
• the customer has simply changed their mind about the purchase, or
• show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging or
• appears to be broken due to general ‘wear and tear’ and not a manufacturing fault
• appears to be broken due to mistreatment or misuse
• are not distributed by Bareback Biltong

If you wish to return a product due to a cancelled job or a customer change of mind you will be charged a 10% restocking fee and the initial freight charge will not be included in this credit. This charge is to cover the time invested by Bareback Biltong to process the initial order. Please contact Bareback Biltong through Cellarsmarket Support for instructions on how to do this.
