At Bareback Biltong, we're an Australian company passionate about creating exceptional biltong, a traditional South African cured meat snack. Our story began in an unexpected place—a neon-lit karaoke bar in Japan. It was there that our co-founder, Dall Murphy, inspired by a unique experience and the taste of biltong, decided to introduce this savoury snack to our home in Australia.

We take great pride in using only the best grass-fed Australian beef for our biltong. Our production process is carefully crafted and extends over six days. This process starts with marinating the beef in a special blend of herbs and spices for 24 hours. Afterwards, the meat is hung in dehydrators for four days to cook and dry, developing the rich and distinctive flavour our biltong is known for.

Our range of biltong flavours is diverse, each meticulously created to delight the taste buds. Our selection includes Original, Smoke, Smoke Chilli, Chimichurri, and Salt and vinegar, available in various sizes ranging from convenient 35g packs to larger bulk options. We advocate our biltong as a healthier alternative to traditional snacks, perfect for pairing with a range of beverages and suitable for various occasions, from relaxed TV watching to social gatherings with friends.

Beyond our biltong, we also offer themed merchandise like T-shirts to engage and connect with our customers. 

We, Queensland brothers Dallan and Damon, are former professional rugby players for the Queensland Reds. Our background in sports helped us promote our biltong, earning the support of Australian sports icons. Our biltong is the official snack of the Australian Wallabies and the Australian 7's rugby teams.

Our commitment to quality and unique brand story resonates well with our customers. We ensure our products have a substantial shelf life, lasting 12 months unopened and up to 3 months after opening if stored properly.
