Benriach 21 Year Old The Twenty One Single Malt Whisky Benriach The Twenty One is a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and four cask matured for at least 21 years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create a rich and elegant single malt. Nose: Berry fruit, orchard apple, wild honey and mountain oak spice. Taste: Candied grape, rich cocoa, smoked pine nut. Finish: Caramelised pear and honey smoke.

The whisky was personally selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, distilled on 19 June 1997, matured for 24 years in virgin oak hogshead and bottled in 2022. Only 303 bottles released. Nose: Honey cream and candied coconut with notes of baked apple, sweet Florida orange and toasted oak. Taste: Sweet nectarine and soft candy with vanilla, jasmine and bergamot tea. Finish: Long and round, lingering root ginger.
