Tasting Notes:
Colour: Claret - Rich and vibrant, courtesy of its Bordeaux wine barriques.
Nose: Ripe Cherries - A confident expression of Black Forest gateaux, ripe cherries, pine nuts, and sea salt, bristling with intent.
Palate: Salty and Spicy - Salty, drying and spicy, yielding to a rousing, expressive, orchestra of rich fruit.
Finish: Bitter Dark Chocolate - Raspberries, cherries and strawberries, resolving to an adventurous bitter dark chocolate.
"Matured in bourbon barrels and finished in Bordeaux red wine barriques, the nose opens with peppery smoke, dry earthiness, bramble, black cherry, lilies, and dried vine fruit. It carries a confident firm fruitiness on the palate, with red apple, red gummies, cherry, and upfront peppery notes, revealing a supple texture with hints of sea salt and beach bonfire smoke.
