The tequila-making process behind Casamigos is a testament to the commitment to excellence. Situated in Jalisco, Mexico, the team hand-selects only the finest 100% Blue Weber agaves, ensuring that each sip is a testament to the spirit's quality. The agave piñas are meticulously roasted in traditional brick ovens, allowing for a slow and precise process that imparts a distinct flavour profile. On the other hand, Casamigos Mezcal is a testament to the artistry and tradition of Oaxaca, Mexico. The team carefully hand-selects the finest 100% Espadín agaves, ensuring that the integrity of the spirit remains uncompromised. The piñas, once harvested, are split and laid to cook for 4-6 days in earthen pits lined with volcanic or river rock. This slow-roasting process allows for even cooking without caramelization, resulting in a mezcal that is rich in flavour and authenticity. Following the roasting process, the piñas are cooled for 24 hours, allowing the flavors to harmonize. The crushing process begins, utilizing a Tahona wheel to extract the essence of the agave. Depending on the season, Casamigos Mezcal then undergoes a delicate fermentation process that spans 6-8 days before it is distilled in covered copper pot stills. The result is a mezcal that embodies the spirit of Oaxaca, capturing the essence of its rich heritage.
Casamigos Añejo Tequila 700ml is the embodiment of passion, tradition and the pursuit of excellence. Crafted with 100% Blue Weber agaves, this exceptional tequila is the result of meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality that sets it apart from the rest. One of the key elements that make Casamigos Añejo Tequila truly exceptional is its extra slow fermentation. This painstakingly slow process allows for the development of a unique flavour profile that sets it apart from other tequilas in the market. To further enhance the depth and complexity of the tequila, Casamigos employs a slow cooking method. The agave piñas, carefully selected from the finest Blue Weber agaves, are roasted in traditional brick ovens.
This traditional approach infuses the tequila with rich caramel notes and imparts a deep amber hue that is visually captivating. As you pour yourself a glass of Casamigos Añejo Tequila, the rich caramel colour catches your eye, inviting you to indulge in its luxurious aroma. Soft caramel and vanilla notes waft from the glass, creating an olfactory experience that is both inviting and tantalizing. With the first sip, you are greeted by a perfect balance of sweetness derived from the Blue Weber agaves. The tequila's flavour profile is further elevated by hints of spice and barrel oak, creating a harmonious symphony of taste that lingers on the palate. Each sip is a testament to the craftsmanship and expertise that goes into every bottle of Casamigos Añejo Tequila. To ensure the utmost purity and quality, Casamigos Añejo Tequila is crafted using purified water.
