Alcohol Policy

Buyers must be at least 18 years old and located outside a designated dry zone to purchase alcohol.

Clynelish whisky is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts, with a complex and fragrant nose and an agreeable, long finish that leaves a lingering fresh-fruity flavour. This 14-year-old is a less heavyweight whisky that's deliciously drinkable and makes it an excellent aperitif.

"There isn't anything extraordinary about this whisky. It is perfectly ordinary, perfectly pleasant. The aroma is a mix of floral honey and a summer rain shower. Peat smoke is gentle with a hint of sea salt. The taste proceeds toward pear, apple and honeycomb cereal. Yeah yeah yeah!" - Stephanie Moreno, Distiller

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Yellow gold.

Body: Firm, light to medium.

Nose: Wax comes up with water – scented candle wax. Dried flowers on a beach. Later, brown sugar.

Palate: Pleasant creamy mouthfeel; maritime generally.

Finish: Some salt, dryish yet an attractive, even slightly bitter finish.
