Alcohol Policy

Buyers must be at least 18 years old and located outside a designated dry zone to purchase alcohol.

Limited to 198 Bottles.

This 24 year old single malt from Cooley Distillery was bottled in July 2016 from a single bourbon barrel.

Cooley distillery was opened in 1987 after it was converted from a pototo alcohol plant by John Teeling. It now operates two pot and three column stills, generally double distilling as opposed the more familiar triple distillation that most Irish producers favour. It was bought by Beam Inc. in 2011, with its former owners now operating the Teeling distillery in Dublin.

"... This is almost a blend of 60% Ardbeg with 40% mezcal. Salt, brine, kippers, olives, lime, peppermint, tar… With water: ah yes it swims. Gets more Ardbeggian, more citrusy, tarrier, waxier… And more fruits are coming out, lemons, tangerines, grapefruits, white currants, bitter oranges. I also love this bitter background, rather on propolis and other blackish things that the good people in the north used to chew. No, I’m not talking about sürströming (sp?) Finish: long, briny, perfect. The mezcal is striking back." - Serge, Whisky Fun (91 Points)
