The body of the bourbon is medium full and somewhat chewy on the palate. The hearty rye spice and vanilla sweetness come through on the palate taming those fruit notes a bit. At barrel strength, it's a bit warming on the finish but easy enough to drink neat. Add a splash of water if you'd like to round out the prickly barrel spices.
