Glen Scotia Double Cask Single Malt Whisky This Double Cask edition from Glen Scotia was matured in handpicked first-fill bourbon barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This provides the perfect balance of rich spicy fruits overlaid with the Glen Scotia characteristics of sea spray and vanilla oak finish. Nose: Very smooth, with hints of caramel, caramelized fruit, a little sweet, with hints of apple and peach. Taste: Sweet with hints of peony and cherries. Finish: Nice length with notes of red fruits and fresh flowers.
