Under the guidance of Legendary Master Distiller Billy Walker, the team has implemented a philosophy of wood innovation, sourcing the very best casks from across the world and constantly influencing the maturation journey.
From amongst the 50,000 casks maturing across our 16 warehouses, Billy hand-selects a small batch for our single cask series. With an exceptional passion for wood policy, Billy closely monitors the development of the whisky until he deems that the perfect balance between distillery character and influence from the wood has been achieved.
We proudly present this bottling at natural colour, non-chill filtered and at cask strength to showcase Glenallachie in its purest form.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Rich mahogany.
Nose: Waves of dried redcurrants, toasted almonds and heather honey, with notes of ginger, crushed sultanas and vanilla.
Taste: Bursting with butterscotch, dried banana chips and cinnamon, with notes of damson plums, orchard fruits and ginger.
