Distilled over thirty years ago, this rare expression has matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, the signature of the distillery, combined with select Amontillado sherry casks. The addition of this third sherry style introduces rich and intriguing aromatics, complemented by refined layers of complexity. Drawing upon decades of skill and expertise, Master Blender Rachel Barrie has brought them together with precision and in sublime balance.  

The Glendronach Aged 30 Years is a smooth and complex Highland Single Malt with an enveloping mouthfeel and seductive lingering finish, for which The Glendronach is renowned. It represents a masterclass in whisky-making and a pinnacle of excellence from the distillery.  

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Dark cherry walnut.

Nose: Richly aromatic with morello cherry, raisin and spiced Brazil nut toffee, layered with marzipan and medjool date caramel.

Palate: Seductively smooth and complex with a crescendo of glazed cherry and sultana cake, cinnamon raisin-nut toffee and chocolate hazelnut café crème.
