Alcohol Policy

Buyers must be at least 18 years old and located outside a designated dry zone to purchase alcohol.

In 1968, Glenfarclas was the first to release a cask strength single malt whisky. This bottling was re-named to 105, the British alcohol proof equivalent for 60% alcohol by volume.

A great whisky holding all the flavours of all the Glenfarclas in one glass. Don't be afraid of the strength and order a 210, if you dare! The smoothness makes the 105 drinkable at cask strength, but i would suggest adding a little water, to fully explore it's great depth.

"Assertive, amazingly smooth for the strength, and wonderfully warming ..." - George S Grant.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Deep peaty-gold.

Nose: Complex, oaky, apples and pears and a tempting dark toffee sweetness.

Flavour: Dry and assertive, develops quickly to reveal a rich spiciness, combined with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.

Finish: Amazingly smooth for the strength, wonderful warming with a lingering spiciness, yet very rounded.

"Sweet scents of Boston cream pie, citrus, and fresh forest, growing more fragrant as the liquid rests in the glass. On the palate, the citrus sweetens to baked orange tart and lemon meringue pie, with underpinnings of chocolate malt, raisins, and pepper spice. The mouthfeel is creamy and concentrated, and the finish is like a rich, full, spiced chocolate dessert. Water enhances things, bringing out more spice and chocolate" - David Fleming, Whisky Advocate (93 Points)

"A classic malt which has upped a gear or two and has become exactly what it is: a whisky of pure brilliance" - Jim Murray, Whisky Bible (95.5 Points)

"Up one point within seven or eight years. Seriously, this is excellent, classic malt whisky" - Serge, Whisky Fun (87 Points)
