Batch #4 2025 Release

Over the last decade, we have been experimenting to recreate a product that would honor the liquid Jack Daniel's created at the end of the 1800s, all while keeping up with the growing demand for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey around the world.

The first aged stated whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery was released in the early 1900s. Our archives tell us Jack Daniel Distillery released 10, 12, 14, 18, and 21-year-old whiskey between the early & the mid-1900s. To honor our distillery's past, our Master Distiller, Chris Fletcher handcrafted this aged-stated whiskey and evolved our whiskey process to achieve a rare flavor profile. Jack Daniel's Aged Series highlights the modern-day world-class whiskey-making expertise of Jack Daniel Distillery while honoring our past. To reinforce Jack Daniel Distillery's history in aged whiskey, the label on this bottle gives a nod to the original cartouche on Jack Daniel’s age-stated bottles from a century ago.

The ingredients and whiskey making process of Jack Daniel's 10-year-old Tennessee Whiskey is the same grain bill as the classic Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. Unaged whiskey is mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before entering the barrel. The Tennessee Whiskey barrels have been aging in the upper floors of our barrelhouse and then methodically relocated to the lower ricks to extend the aging process. The extreme weather variation at different locations in the barrel houses along with longevity in our handmade oak barrels creates an intense, unique character of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey at 97 proof.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Cooked caramel apple and soft oak.

Taste: Oak-forward with layers of fruit, chocolate and barrel spice.

Finish: Long and warm.

"After resting in barrels for a decade, Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Batch 4 delivers a nice balance of sweet and oak notes that make for a pleasing release." - Jordan Moskal, Breaking Bourbon

"This is an unexpected and utterly delightful release from the folks at Jack Daniels. It’s an whiskey aged in some pretty serious temperature that hasn’t been overthrown with over the top oak, being too dry or being bottled at cask strength just for the sake of it." - Phil Dwyer, The Whiskey Wash (90 Points)

"A rock solid, pleasant whiskey. It's not crazy complex, but it's sweet, rich and approachable." - Bottle Raiders (88 Points)

"At 97 proof there is nothing at all punchy about this batch of the 10 Year Old, and in fact it ends up feeling almost too delicate — even without comparing to the 12 and the 14. (In fact I tasted these starting with the 10.) That said, it’s a night and day difference vs. last year’s release and one of my favorite batches of the 10 Year Old to date." - Christopher Null, Drinkhacker (92 Points)

"This is phenomenal it's fat kid whiskey again it's everything about 10 that I like ramped up like four levels and none of the bads." - Bourbon Junkies
