We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us through your CellarsMarket account. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Aquavit—often called the “Water of Life”—is Norway’s national spirit, and none is more renowned than Linie. Crafted from potatoes and delicately infused with caraway and a selection of aromatic herbs, Linie Aquavit delivers a fragrant and inviting character that reflects its rich Scandinavian heritage.
What truly sets Linie apart is its unique maturation journey. The spirit is aged in sherry casks aboard cargo ships that travel to the Southern Hemisphere and back, crossing the equator twice—hence the name Linie, meaning “line.” Throughout the voyage, constant movement and dramatic shifts between heat and cold allow the spirit to penetrate deep into the oak, enhancing complexity, imparting flavour, and giving Linie its distinctive pale gold hue.
This remarkable tradition has been upheld for over a century. It began when a batch of aquavit returned from Australia was found to possess an exceptional smoothness, inspiring a method that continues to this day. Each bottle proudly displays the name of the ship on which its aquavit was matured.
Traditionally enjoyed neat, Linie Aquavit remains a staple across Scandinavia, especially alongside seafood and bold, salty dishes. In Norway, it is widely regarded as the perfect companion to pork and other rich, fatty meats.
Linie Aquavit has a limited shelf life of approximately two years and should be stored away from direct sunlight.
