Batch 25C (62.8% ABV / 125.6 Proof)

George T. Stagg built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, during a time known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon. Uncut and unfiltered, this robust bourbon whiskey ages for nearly a decade and boasts the bold character that is reminiscent of the man himself.

Tasting Notes:

Rich, sweet, chocolate and brown sugar flavors mingle in perfect balance with the bold rye spiciness. The boundless finish lingers with hints of cherries, cloves and smokiness.

"Spectacularly mind-blowing!" - Jim Murray, Whisky Bible

Batch Specific Reviews:

"I think it's a banger i love the backend finish like a Stagg has this is special this might be." - Whiskey Knows

"The big predominant notes are that brown sugar and cherry it's a little bit of fruit a little bit of sweet definitely has a little ump to it." - Bentley's Bourbon

"This was an interesting pour.  There was a kind of metamorphosis of flavors over time, mostly affecting the fruit aspect.  It opened with grape or cherry, and then there was a mid-period where I perceived quite a bit of apricot.  At the end, it then morphed back to grape or cherry, which is what I would expect from mash bill 1.  I also found apricot in this year's EH Taylor Barrel Proof (also mash bill 1).  Is it just me (likely), or do this year's mash bill 1 releases have brighter fruit flavors than usual?  In the end, Stagg (Jr.) batch 25C was an enjoyable pour." - /r/bourbon (user: Twist_Top_Budget)

"Overall, this was a fantastic pour, and I'd love to find a bottle for myself. I have no idea how this 25C batch compares to the other 2025 batches, or to previous years' batches, but I am a big fan of 25C." - /r/bourbon (user: PA_Whiskey_Reviews)
