The Michter's Fort Nelson Reserve Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a distillery exclusive, produced in extremely limited quantities. The selections can be personalised at the distillery, with the purchaser able to hand-fill the bottle from the barrel with minimal filtration.
Finished to a varying +103-proof, this premium NAS iteration demonstrates the mastery of Master Distiller Pam Heilmann, with a consistency of quality and flavour sure to make it a must-have for any Michter's collector.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose opens with hues of sweet caramel apples, pepper, and oak seasoned with white pepper.
Palate: On the palate are hints of more caramel apple, cinnamon, roasted hazelnuts, and candied cranberries.
