Ghost in the Staves by Ocho Beer 24 x 375mL cans - gross weight 9.6kg Brewed by Miners Gold Brewery, Beaconsfield TAS. Last October we milled over half a tonne of malt and crammed it into our mash tun at the beginning of what would be a very long (but rewarding) brew day! The result was a concentrated, jet black liquor which we fermented in stainless for 3-4 weeks before racking into 3 x 300L French oak hogsheads (the very same barrels we'd just emptied  Old Dreadful out of). After about 7 months' ageing in oak, we racked it back into stainless for packaging. We are incredibly happy with the result. A terrifyingly rich and...
