2007 Oban double-matured in ex-bodega Montilla Fino cask wood for a rich fruitiness and maritime flavours that bond with the fresh, sweet aromas and tastes of the regular release in an explosive, rich and deep expression of Oban.
This Oban goes through a second aging process in Montilla Fino wooden barrels, in which the whiskey takes on delicious and intense fruity notes such as the aromas of dried figs with honey and a slightly salty note. This Oban makes the classic vanilla cheesecake appear even more delicious, which may be due to the Spanish barrels.
