Bottled at 58% ABV, Mithuna by Paul John matured in American virgin oak casks before being finished in ex-bourbon casks. Created from six-row barley harvested from across the vast lands of northwestern India to the foothills of the Himalayas, the whisky is distilled in the warm tropical climate of Goa along the southwestern coast of India, and has an angel’s share of eight percent. It is non chill-filtered and unpeated.
On the notes, the whisky offers . On the palate, Mithuna delivers chewy flavours of coffee mocha, orange peel, and soft spice floating on active tannins that lead to a long and gratifying finish.
