The Penderyn Madeira Finish awarded three gold medals at the International Whisky Competition in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The maturation was carried out in ex-bourbon barrels and a finish in Madeira barrels. The taste is therefore very fruity and intense. The Penderyn whisky comes from Wales and is therefore not part of a typical whisky region. A Faraday Copper Bladder is used in the manufacturing process which is unique in the world.
The Penderyn is not cool-filtered and uncoloured.
