What can be returned?
SkullandBarrel handles returns and processes refunds under the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.
If you have a valid reason for return, like not as described or you have doubts about the authenticity of the bottle please notify us within 1 day of receiving your purchase. If we approve your return, we will process a refund upon timely receipt of the goods purchased. Unopened goods will be refunded in full. Refunds will be processed promptly and will be made by the same method that you made the payment. All refunds are made at the discretion of SkullAndBarrel
When do items need to be returned?
10 days after the return is approved. We will provide a return label for you. Please make sure the goods are packed properly, if damage occurs in transit because of poor packaging, the refund might be less than your purchase price.
Buyers must be at least 18 years old and located outside a designated dry zone to purchase alcohol.
Springbank 10 Year Old Pedro Ximenez 2022 Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast. The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland. Kicking off the Springbank Sherry series is this 10 year old whisky matured for seven years in Bourbon casks and three years in fresh Pedro Ximenez casks. The Springbank character married with the sweet, rich PX influence creates a perfect winter-warmer dram. Distilled in July 2012 and bottled in October 2022 at 55% vol. Nose: An unmistakable Sherry influence presents itself from the beginning, with rich notes of date syrup and raisins kicking off this full-bodied dram. Taste: A tannic, spicy element is introduced in the palate, along with notes of cola cubes, cherry menthol, cinnamon and caramel. The typical Springbank characteristics hold their own against the heavy PX influence in an apparent oiliness and damp, dunnage note. Finish: The tannic element continues through to the finish, and PX qualities come to the forefront in notes of sultanas and rich spices. Please note: Springbank labels are extremely prone to scuffing. We cannot guarantee these items are like new.
