Alcohol Policy

Buyers must be at least 18 years old and located outside a designated dry zone to purchase alcohol.

A single malt aged 17 years, created in collaboration with Scotland's design museum, V&A Dundee and Ben Dobbin of Foster & Partners architects. Elegantly housed in a bespoke presentation case.

From initial maturation in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, Luminary No.3 has been finished in a bold combination of seven casks, including both vintage and aged Calvados, rare Matusalem Sherry, rare Apostoles Sherry, select red wine casks from Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape and fully matured American White Oak.

The 2025 Edition of The Luminary Series is created by acclaimed architect Ben Dobbin, Senior Partner at Foster + Partners, in partnership with The Dalmore’s award-winning Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass, and with the support and expertise of Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE.

This edition is limited to 20,000 bottles, and presented in special-edition packaging designed by Ben and his team at Foster + Partners.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Vibrant orchard character leads on to Madagascan vanilla and cinnamon, with delicate rose water top notes.

Palate: Rich butterscotch. red apples, tarte tatin, dark cacao, liquorice, and soft wood spices, elevated by notes of cardamom, Seville oranges, and green tea.

Finish: Dried apricots, ripe blackberries, fresh baked brioche, and soft lingering cassia bark.

"Honey-drizzled and marmalade-coated toast leads on the finish, equal parts sweet, yeasty, tart, and charred. It’s a fitting end to a complex palate that (mostly) walks a fine line between cloying and balanced, sweet and complex." - David Tao, Drinkhacker (90 Points)
