Two fresh Amontillado finishing casks, selected from Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley, held layers of brilliant complexity that called for a delicate spirit that wouldn’t overpower. A parcel of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks from our Bothwell Distillery, home of Nant Single Malt Whisky, produced the perfect balance of subtle brightness and light vanilla, accentuating the orchard fruit notes and allowing the vibrancy of the Amontillado to shine through. A bright and spirited dram that will transport you to Tasmania’s Huon Valley orchards from the very first sip.
