Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask, part of the exceptional Rare Blends Collection of Barceló rums, is born from the nectar of the finest selection of Dominican sugar cane, grown in our own cane fields. It is the result of aging the reserves of our most precious rums in oak barrels with different degrees of toast, carefully selected by our expert master coopers.
Once the blend is achieved, Mizunara Cask is aged in virgin Japanese oak barrels to provide the complexity and unique flavor that distinguishes this exuberant rum. Intense and woody in style, Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask is an exquisite spirit, born to fascinate the most demanding palates; it is harmony for the senses.
Tasting Notes:
Intense pale amber color with coppery glints. Its trace on the inside of the glass, draws moderate tears. Its aroma is of toasted wood, accompanied by vanilla, complex notes of sandalwood, coconut and ginger. The palate combines the memories perceived on the nose, woody and mellow. A long finish, subtly spicy and dry.
