Tombacco Pecorino Terre d’Abruzzo is a vibrant, coastal-inspired white from Abruzzo, made from 100% Pecorino – one of Italy’s most exciting native grapes. It pours a pale straw yellow and opens with lifted aromas of lemon zest, crunchy green apple, white peach and wild flowers, with a gentle hint of Mediterranean herbs and sea breeze in the background.
On the palate it’s fresh and lively, with crisp acidity, good texture and a clean mineral finish. That balance of fruit and salinity makes it a super food-friendly wine: serve it with grilled or baked fish, pasta with seafood, light vegetarian dishes, fresh cheeses or even antipasti and cured meats.
