Made from grapes grown in vineyards located in San Luigi, this wine is distinguished by its freshness and drinkability while maintaining the excellent body and elegance of an important red wine. Fruity and aromatic, this is an everyday wine that surprises at every sip. Aromas of fresh fruit that range from blackberry to cherry. On the palate, it is pleasant and tasty with a good acidity; it displays considerable youth. An everyday wine, easy to pair with food, the San Luigi is perfect with appetizers and cheese. It is best drunk in the first five years after bottling. Serve at a temperature between 16-18°C (61-64° F). WINEMAKING: Crushing-destemming is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts. It is left in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Next follows racking and cold decantation with transfer to stainless steel tanks. It is stabilized with cold temperatures in order to avoid the use of clarifying products at the end of the process.
