Andeluna Pasionado Quatro Cepas 2019 is a premium Argentine red blend that captures the purity, altitude and character of Gualtallary in Tupungato, Mendoza. Crafted from four varietals grown at over 1,300 metres in the Uco Valley, this high-altitude red is hand-harvested at dawn in April at full polyphenolic ripeness, manually berry sorted and cold macerated before each variety is vinified separately. The wine is then matured for 12 months in French oak, with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged in 50% new oak, 25% first-use oak and 25% second-use oak, while Cabernet Franc is aged in 60% first-use oak and 40% second-use oak, before the final blend is assembled and rested for a minimum of 8 months in bottle. The result is a serious, cellar-worthy Mendoza red blend with harmony, depth and sophistication.
